Eva Husson

Eva Husson is a writer and a director. Her second feature, Girls of the Sun, a film inspired by the true story of female fighters who took on ISIS, had its world premiere at Cannes and is now in select theaters through Cohen Media Group. Her debut feature, Bang Gang, premiered in 2015 in competition at the Toronto International Film Festival and was also selected at the BFI London, Rotterdam and Ramdam festivals. Husson has been a nomad most her adult life, living between the States, France, Spain, England and Puerto Rico, but was born and raised in France. She has a Masters in English Literature and a BA in Spanish Literature from the Sorbonne University, and an MFA in directing from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
