Amy Berg

Amy Berg is a critically acclaimed, Emmy-award winning and Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her 2006 documentary Deliver Us From Evil and went on to direct West of Memphis (2012), a documentary about the failure of the justice system in the West Memphis Three case. Amy’s first narrative feature, Every Secret Thing, was released theatrically in May 2015 and her doc, Prophet’s Prey will open in theatres this fall. Amy’s company, Disarming Films, produces long-form documentaries focusing on social justice.
