Seamus Murphy

Seamus Murphy’s latest documentary, PJ Harvey: A Dog Called Money, a meditation on the creation process which premiered at the Berlinale 2019, is out now via Film Forum. The photographer and filmmaker has won seven World Press Photo awards for his work in Afghanistan, Gaza, Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Peru and Ireland. His work from Afghanistan is in the collections of The Getty Museum, Los Angeles and Imperial War Museum, London. He is the author of four books of photography. As a director and cinematographer he has made films for The New Yorker and Channel 4 (UK). (Picture by Justin McKie.)
