Bio

There are at least two artists named Supercute. 1. Supercute, a British band, the D.I.Y. project of John William Davies, the owner of Sonic Art Union Records label. Davies released his first record, entitled “I hate Oasis and I hate The Beatles” in 1996 under the moniker of Teen Anthems. After that he made several appearances on various compilations and moved on to releasing records under his current pseudonym, Supercute – music that can be described as combination of bouncy 80's-like techno-pop with witty lyrics. One year after releasing their first record, a 7” EP “Jamie Theakston” in 1999, Supercute saw their second release, an EP entitled “Songs Your Mother Never Taught You” on a Spanish label Elefant Records. 2. Supercute!, three New York based girls. They write and perform songs about turtles, why doing candy is better then doing drugs and their favorite animals, pigeons. Read more on Last.fm.
