Musa Syeed is an independent filmmaker and writer. His new narrative feature, A Stray, premiered at SXSW 2016 and is now on release. His first narrative feature, Valley of Saints, premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for World Cinema: Dramatic and the Alfred P. Sloan Film Prize. The Big House, a narrative short Syeed shot in Yemen, was a 2014 Sundance selection.
