J.C. Chandor

J.C. Chandor was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for his directorial debut Margin Call, which also won multiple awards including two Independent Spirit Awards. His two subsequent films, All Is Lost starring Robert Redford and A Most Violent Year with Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, garnered huge critical acclaim as well as nominations from the Academy Awards, BAFTAs, Golden Globes, Independent Spirit Awards and Gotham Awards. He currently lives outside New York City with his wife, painter Cameron Goodyear, and their two children.
