David Garland

David Garland is a composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist who studied visual art at Rhode Island School of Design and has been hosting and producing radio shows in New York City since 1983. His eclectic music show Spinning On Air is just completing its 28-year run on WNYC-FM. Since 1985, Garland has been releasing music under his own name; contributing musicians include Meredith Monk, John Zorn, Vashti Bunyan, Sufjan Stevens, Sean Lennon, Christian Marclay and Diane Cluck.
