Alexandra McGuinness

Alexandra McGuinness’ second film as writer/director, She’s Missing, starring Lucy Fry, Eiza Gonzalez, Josh Hartnett and Sheila Vand, is in select theaters through Vertical Entertainment from December 20. Born in Dublin, Ireland, McGuinness graduated from the London Film School in 2010 where her graduation film, She Owns Eve-erything – based on a short story by Anne Enright – was chosen to represent her graduating class. Her debut feature film, Lotus Eaters, premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival, and was released theatrically by Pathe, Curzon and Phase 4. She created, wrote and directed the Super Deluxe web series Riders, which is now being developed as a half-hour show for Sundance Now to be written, directed and executive produced by Alexandra. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Blake Berris and their young son.
