David Dastmalchian

David Dastmalchian made his feature acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight and won praise for his performance in Denis Villeneuve’s Prisoners. He won a Special Jury Prize for Courage in Storytelling at SXSW 2014 for Animals, which he wrote and acted in. He’ll next be seen opposite Tim Roth in Michel Franco’s Cannes 2015 selection Chronic and in Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man. His short plays That’s What They Say and Myself of My State have been produced in Chicago and his short film Keen won Best Screenplay at the New York Independent Film Festival.
