Ryan Fleck

Ryan Fleck (with his partner Anna Boden) has written and directed four feature films. His debut feature Half Nelson (2006) was honored with several Gotham and Independent Spirit Awards, while Ryan Gosling received SAG Award and Oscar nominations for his performance. Sugar (2008) went on to win an AFI Award and also earned Gotham and Independent Spirit nominations. Fleck’s third film, It’s Kind Of A Funny Story (2010), was based on the young adult novel by Ned Vizzini. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released by Focus Features. His most recent film Mississippi Grind (2015) premiered at Sundance and earned Ben Mendelsohn a Spirit Award nomination for best male performance (Picture by Adam Bell.)
