Ben Wheatley was born in Essex, England. He directed web shorts and television before transitioning to cinema in 2009 with his feature directorial debut, Down Terrace. His subsequent film includes Kill List, Sightseers and A Field in England. His latest film, High-Rise, is now on the festival circuit.
